By submitting an entry to Writers’ Sky, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Submission Guidelines and Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in competitions, submissions, and related activities conducted by Writers’ Sky through its website, digital platforms, printed publications, and promotional channels. By submitting an entry or participating in any competition hosted by Writers’ Sky, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, submitting, or participating in any Writers’ Sky competition, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, along with the published Submission Guidelines and any competition-specific rules.

2. Organiser

The competitions are organised and conducted by Writers’ Sky, through its official website www.writerssky.com and our official platforms only.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals as announced in the specific competition details. Writers’ Sky reserves the right to define, modify, or group categories based on the entries received.

Participants must provide accurate details during submission. Any false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in rejection or disqualification.

4. One Entry Per Participant

Unless otherwise stated for a specific competition, only one entry per participant is permitted. Multiple entries from the same participant may be rejected or disqualified at the discretion of Writers’ Sky.

5. Original Work Requirement

All submitted entries must be the participant’s own original work.

The participant must ensure that:

  • the work is not copied, adapted, or reproduced from any book, article, website, social media post, publication, or other source
  • the work has not been submitted under another person’s name
  • the work does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any third party

Any plagiarised, copied, or unauthorised work will be disqualified immediately.

6. Submission Format

Entries must be submitted in the format announced by Writers’ Sky. Unless otherwise specified, submissions must be in PDF or JPG format.

The participant is responsible for ensuring that:

  • the file is clear and readable
  • the uploaded file is complete and correct
  • the submission is made before the deadline

Writers’ Sky shall not be responsible for unreadable files, incorrect uploads, failed uploads, or incomplete submissions.

7. Word Limit and Category Rules

The word limit for each submission shall depend on the category announced for that competition.

Participants must strictly follow:

  • the word limit applicable to their category
  • the theme or topic announced
  • any additional rules published for that competition

Entries that fail to comply may be rejected without notice.

8. Deadline

All entries must be submitted on or before the published deadline.

Late submissions will not be accepted unless Writers’ Sky expressly announces otherwise. Writers’ Sky shall not be liable for any delays caused by internet issues, technical problems, or participant-side errors.

9. Review, Selection, and Judging

All entries will be reviewed according to the competition criteria announced by Writers’ Sky, which may include originality, creativity, relevance, clarity, impact, presentation, and audience response.

Where applicable, selected writings may be published for audience engagement, and entries receiving the highest audience support, including hearts or similar reactions, may be considered for winning positions as per the published competition format.

The decision of Writers’ Sky, its editorial team, judging panel, or announced voting mechanism shall be final and binding.
